LGEA - Paige Johnson

I’m nominating for re-election to the Committee of Management of the Local Government Engineers’ Association (LGEA) because I want to continue making a positive difference for our members.

While on the Committee of Management, as a workplace Delegate and through LGEA Young Professionals, I’ve seen what great things our union does.

Local Government is my passion – I’m proud to be Senior Civil Engineer for Asset Management at Lake Macquarie City Council as well as an elected Councillor for the City of Newcastle.

Developing our emerging engineers and next generation of leaders in local government is important to me. Alongside my professional roles, since last year I have also been serving as Chair of Young IPWEA NSW and ACT where I lead the state committee on a strategy of retention, growth and advocacy for our young members.
